For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
~ John 3:16 ~
We are indeed so privileged to be called sons and daughters of God. Through His one and only begotten Son, that we are now reconciled with Him. Even right now, I am still amazed why God did that for us at the first place. Truly Lord, I'm amazed by how you love us. Our minds just couldn't comprehend how deep and how wide is your love for us. Will someone actually die for us so that we can live? Our God is more than a friend but also a Saviour, a Redeemer who sets us free. He is the way, the truth and the life. God's love is unconditional. He loves us just as who we are and He is a God of second chance. Unconditional means there is no condition for us to be loved by God because He has already loved us. We do not need to earn His love. Just by believing in Him, we are now saved.
I'm ever grateful to have a loving God that I can talk to anytime, anywhere. He hears us even as we utter a small little prayer. Just as what was written in Psalm 121:3 "He will not let your foot slip - he who watches over you will not slumber." Be assured that God loves us no matter what we do. It's not about doing thing to please Him, but just by being who we are before Him. After all, we are human-being, not human-doing. When we know how much God loves us and when we experience His love, we will live a life that fulfills His will and purpose for us. Love God, love your neighbour. Throughout my journey with God, I can testify that Jesus is real. He has shown me so many miracles that are still vivid in my mind.
I would like to share this song with you entitled How He loves us. Every time I listen to the song, it really touched my heart. Take time to listen to the lyrics and you will know. I pray that each of us will experience His love and will be reminded on how much God loves us. Despite of our circumstances, remember that if God is for us, who can be against us. His love for us will never fail. Surely His mercy and grace last a life time. Be blessed......
